Hello, I’m Tim
I’m a photographer (and sometimes writer). I create images that explore connection to place, particularly through images of wildlife, natural landscapes, architecture, and the emotional texture of the Southern environment.
I began my career as a photojournalist, drawn to capturing authentic moments from everyday life — its challenges, celebrations, and quiet in-betweens. After a long chapter working in traditional business roles, I returned to photography as my “encore career” to focus on documentary photography, fine art, and independent publishing.
I live in the American South and work on projects that combine photography, writing, and craft. Across all areas of my practice, I aim to make work that’s thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in attentive observation.
